Syncing the Samish Woods Calendar to your device
The general school calendar is publicly available in various forms and most likely can be integrated directly into any calendar application you use, including those on mobile devices. Many applications support the "iCal" format of calendar sharing - for any of those you can cut and paste the following URL into the appropriate place in the application and see the calendar, including have it update itself as new information is added:
For instance, to view this from the ipad, iphone or ipod touch calendar app, go to "Settings" -> "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" -> "Accounts/Add Account..." -> "Other" -> "Add Subscribed Calendar" and enter the above URL. You can use the same URL in Microsoft Outlook and add it to your "Internet Calendars" setting.
If you have a google account and use the google calendar you can also add this calendar to yours simply by entering info@samishwoods.org into the "Add a friend's calendar" box under the "Other Calendars" list. Please send any questions you have about this to tech@samishwoods.org |
